This morning, without thinking, I took my son’s hand, gently placing a kiss into his palm, as I do with you. I thought upon what it might mean. It is a promise– to love, always, to love completely. I am given.
I thought about my son and when I first held his hand…I think I was taken at that moment and have been ever since. (He is now a man of almost 24 and I have never felt any different about him since I first laid eyes on him)
I wish you many more blessings shared with him to come. They teach you how to give and receive unconditional love…for me in a way I had never known, and doubt I shall again.
